1.  Bio-Sketch (including current research areas)

 Pham Dinh Trong was born in 1987. After graduating from a high school specializing in Chemistry at the Hanoi University of Science, Trong began his undergraduate program at the Faculty of Chemistry, Hanoi University of Science VNU in 2005. In 2010, Trong pursued his Ph.D. program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware, USA and attained the Ph.D. degree in 2015. In 2015-2016, Trong continued his postdoctoral research at the University of Delaware collaborating with Johnson Matthey. In 2017, Trong returned to the Faculty of Chemistry, Hanoi University of Science and became a lecturer there.

Pham Dinh Trong research group focuses on synthesizing and characterizing microporous and mesoporous materials with high surface areas and pore volumes. The catalysts can be used in petrochemistry, environmental treatment, and adsorption. The team has published 14 articles in national and international journals and 7 US patents.
