  • Work as a researcher and lecturer in the Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry, Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam (2006-2009); School of Material Science and Engineering, Shanghai Institute of Technology (2010-2016); Key Laboratory for Advanced Materials, Research Institute of Industrial Catalysis, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China (2013-2016).
  • Ability to develop and implement new research ideas, and to design and perform advanced experiments.
  • Demonstrated strong background in heterogeneous catalysis testing, and data interpretation. 
  • Experience in the synthesis of nanostructured materials, heterostructure materials, mesoporous materials, metal catalysts, or similar materials. 
  • Familiarity with SEM, TEM, BET, XRD, XPS, XRF, NMR, Raman, FTIR, X-ray absorption; spectroscopy and other materials characterization techniques. 
  • Experience in simulating, predicting and analysis of crystal structures and density functional theory (DFT).

  • Development of advanced nanomaterials for capture, storage and conversion of CO2 into fuel and chemicals; photocatalytic water splitting; photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants in water.
  • Development of semiconductor heterostructured photocatalysts for environmental remediation and green growth.
  • Development of organic–inorganic hybrid nanocomposite, adsorbent-photocatalyst hybrid materials, three-dimensionally ordered macroporous, ordered mesoporous materials and their applications in environmental pollution control and green industries.
  • Development of advanced materials for effective, environmental- friendly and sustainable agriculture in accordance with low carbon agriculture orientation.
  • Structural characterization of new materials and structure-property relations.
