-        Study on fabrication, characterization, and application of heterogeneous catalysts (solid acid-base catalysts, metal and metal oxide catalysts) for transformation of biomass-derived compounds to value-added compounds.

-        Study on synthesis, characterization, and application of nano-sized particle materials and ordered mesoporous materials.
